Art Dept. Website

So I looked at the website..
It's pretty generic and matches the rest of the SOU website.
Good info. I love the class schedule.
There should be pictures of the faculty so the incoming students know what their instructors look like. It would be helpful.
There also should be the requirements listed for an Art Major and Minors in Art (Graphic Design, Applied Multimedia, Printmaking etc.)

Final Project Idea again....

So I've changed my mind.
What I want to do for my final project is to design a flash website for myself.
It would be like feeding two birds with one seed (as we vegetarians say)

Final Project Ideas

I have had a hard time figuring out what I want to do for my final project.
I am thinking something that is more user-interactive. Perhaps like a fortune teller game...
or.. tarot...

Back From Maui!

Well, now it's back to school from working at a festival in Maui.
I just want to reiterate that I am looking for someone to help me catch up in class. I know I've missed how to put audio in flash and some code. Please respond asap if you are interested.
Thank you!

Tutorials

I am not sure if this is a person or a company. In my opinion this is some of the best work I've seen.

Looking For Part-Time Tutor in Flash

I am going to Maui to work for two weeks. I will be gone from February 4th-17th. When I get back I am looking for someone who can help me catch up in my Art351 class. I am new at Flash and my skills are bare minimum. Anyone who just knows the basics will be fine. I am looking at perhaps only a few hours a week. The day and time can be worked out.
Thank You!

Today, I didn't go technically to a different place, but I experienced places I had been before in a whole new light. I was mostly outside in the garden walking barefoot, which I do not normally do. I was walking around the perimeter of my raised beds of kale and strawberries. I walked in a madrone and manzanita forest surrounding my house and walked on fall tree logs. Being barefoot in the sun gave me a whole new perspective on grace and beauty. It was peaceful yet inspiring.

Cool Flash Website

This is a very nicely done interactive website. The images react to the mouse.

There was another website someone sent me a while ago with a department store website that had the view of their items to buy and while you were looking at it the items were dropping down the page. It's hard to explain but it was awesome.

Little Animation

Hi

Miles's Video

What was that little animation video we saw in class on monday with the guy dancing and singing with the skeleton head in his crotch? That was hilarious! What's the URL?

Advent Calendar Idea

My original idea was to do Enlightenment and have each day be a quote or something leading up to the state of Enlightenment. Now I think I will just do random things to do to be enlightened. Like buy a homeless person a meal or save a dog about to die in a shelter. Something like that but not all slightly depressing.

Sauna

My first time in my new sauna was very relaxing, cleansing and purifying. The smell of the wood, the eucalyptus oil and the music of Shimshai. I definitely think this is the best investment I made this Winter Break.

Interactivity

I had an experience recently with having a dialog with a computer (robotic woman on the PayPal hotline) There wasn't any numerical options that dealt with my issue that the robotic woman was giving me. I kept saying "agent" "I want to talk to a real person" but she kept on saying "Sorry, I didn't quite understand what you said." Sometimes interactivity drives me crazy.
